“In and out of love
Too much is never enough
She’s gonna get ya”
This is one of the songs that I am blurring the lines a bit.
In and Out of Love might be my favorite Bon Jovi song (with Runaway and Wanted Dead or Alive close behind), and that is saying a lot. Bon Jovi has so many great songs, it is hard to pick a favorite. But this is one great rock song.
I also had a full size poster of Jon Bon Jovi on my wall wearing the outfit he wore in this video. Ooh la la! 😉
7800° Fahrenheit was the album released before Slippery When Wet, which catapulted Bon Jovi to superstardom. This one is a really great rock album. A lot heavier than Slippery When Wet. I also love that album, but it has more of a pop sound than this one.
The song didn’t fare too well on the charts, though it did enter the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart at number 37. It also peaked at number 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. But it was only a matter of time before Bon Jovi would have a number one single and album.
And, yes! I do have this album.
And I just listened to it the other day while cleaning the house.
